Basic Level Blocking:

As i am not in any way a graphic designer, even for something like pixel art I opted to use slightly modified assets from online. For the first level which is the only one I managed to complete in time there are two main tile-maps used.

The first as pictured above is an outdoor snow area. This will be the general backdrop for the first level and mainly be decorative. Some bigger objects are used with a hit-box, but the smaller ones such as the small rocks will be used without.


This is the second main tile-map used for the first level. This is just a simple barbed wire also soured from online. I did modify it slightly to give it a snow look as previously it did not have one. This was used for the barbed wire fence present on the first level, and serves as an obstacle for the player to get past.


This is the final asset used in the first level. It serves simply as the entrance to the facility as again, i am not a designer so i could not create one myself. This one was generated by Microsoft designer after many prompts trying it to generate a non-isometric image. It serves the purpose, even though it wasn't quite what i wanted from it.
